Árainn Mhór Island (Arranmore) has a new digital workspace. Located in the village of Leadhb Garbh, 3 miles off the Donegal coast on the Wild Atlantic Way, MODAM, or Mol Oifig Digiteach Árainn Mhór, has become Ireland's first offshore shared digital workspace. This innovative approach will help the local community to create new business and employment opportunities in the island.

The hub has high speed internet access with WiFi and a managed local area network. It offers 11 desks and a dedicated meeting space, including video conferencing and team collaboration facilities, for short and long term rental for remote work, projects or just a change of scenery. Furthermore, the shared space overlooks beautiful Leadhb Garbh beach and is walking distance to local amenities.

MODAM is an initiative by Arranmore Island Community Council in partnership with Donegal County Council, The Department of Rural and Community Development, Three Ireland and Grow Remote.
