'Digital Donegal Week' will run from Monday 3 to Wednesday 5 April, 2017 as part of the national AllAboard 2017 programme.
There will be a host of events on offer to entice, excite and engage digital enthuasiasts of all ages. During this event, Letterkenny Institute of Technology's students, from many disciplines, will undertake a social media project, mentored by Visual Newsdesk at Storyburst a mobile, live content creation service with ateam of professional digital creatives. LYIT in colloboration with Donegal Education and Training Board have co-ordinated this event and it's not to be missed!
Donegal Digital's workshop
Marketing your business in a Digital World workshop will take place on Tuesday, from 2.30-5.30pm, in Room 2271 of the LYIT.
Hosted by Conor Boyce, Prinicpal at Earlytoe Marketing, the workshop is part of our Donegal Digital action plan. The primary emphasis of this workshop will be on developing a digital strategy to promote your business online. Web Analytics to drive strategy and how to integrate digital technologies to help boost and streamline online activities will also be addressed. A road-map will be provided for each participating business which can be built into the overall business planning process.
Conor Boyce is a strategic marketer who has worked in senior management positions for nearly thirty years. Conor was the first sales marketing manager at Marine Harvest Ireland where he helped establish a global network of importers and distributors. He also worked in Donegal Parian China and was General Manager of a large seafood processor in West Donegal.
