Letterkenny Institute of Technology has held a formative session for the university students interested in improving their digital skills regarding the 'Donegal Digital Week', taking place during 'All Aboard 2017' initiative, the 3-7 April 2017. In that way, the communications & content agency Visual Newsdesk has guided a social media content creation workshop. The objective of the event was to taught how to communicate online content for the 'Donegal Digital Week', as the students will help in the communication process.

The Donegal Digital plan will be part of this digital week. Conor Boyce, Principal of Earlytoe Marketing, will guide 'Marketing your business in a Digital World' workshop. Boyce is a strategic marketer who has worked in senior management positions for nearly thirty years. He works directly with clients looking to grow their business and also delivers workshops and seminars.
The event will take place the 4th of April, Tuesday, from 14:30 to 17:30, in the LYIT.
'Harnessing digital for Donegal'
The ERNACT network of regions, partner of Donegal Digital, will participate in the digital week as well. Colm Mc Colgan, General Manager at ERNACT, will be one of the experts that will discuss about the impact and potential of digital for Donegal. Mc Colgan has been designing and delivering international ICT and broadband projects in the various EU innovation programmes for over 20 years.
The panel will take place on Wednesday, the 5th of April, from 10:00 to 11:30, in the LYIT.
Find out more about All Aboard 2017, an initiative being co-run by The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and Ireland’s higher education institutions. In that way, series of national and regional public events will be designed to build confidence in Ireland’s digital skills for learning.
