Iñigo Zubicaray | Gweedore

Hosted by Donegal Digital partner Údarás na Gaeltachta, the MIT's Innovators Under 35 festival, held in Gaoth Dobhair / Gweedore from the 19th to the 21st of May, has gathered a diverse range of innovators, including entrepreneurs, researchers, and industry leaders from all over Europe.

The conference featured talks, workshops, and networking events, with a focus on the transformative power of technological innovation in several technical fields, such as biotechnology and medicine, electronics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), nanotechnology and materials, energy and transportation. As a result, the event helped to forge new collaborations and partnerships between innovators, fostering new business opportunities and economic growth in the region.

The event also provided a platform for local agents to showcase their work and connect with global leaders in innovation, while also highlighting the region's potential to attract and retain top talent in the industry. Overall, the conference is a significant milestone for Donegal as it seeks to establish itself as a hub for innovation and technology.
